This place is an absolute must if you want to be away from it all and want reasonable priced excellent Ayurvedic treatments. Manager is wonderful and arranges airport pickups, Tuk Tuk rides and anything else you may require. Located next to a lake with good walking routes. Local village surroundings, but a 10 minute Tuk Tuk drive to beaches. I will go back

Ground floor rooms look over pool as they are not high enough to see unrestricted view of lake. Need to go into town on evening to eat.

The isolation and tranquillity of this holiday home is exceptional, booked it on the back of tremendous ratings and we were not disappointed. The staff were wonderful, the accommodation is a genuine 3***, breakfast, whilst simple was adequately good, and the pool a welcome relief at times. The owner, our host was so obliging and helpful, we will return!

The chance it will become so popular that we will not be able to book a return visit.

Quite far from restaurants, no dinner.

It is on the edge of a lake, covered with purple flowers depending on the time of day and water levels. The dichotomy of wealthy (empty) vacation homes and tiny traditional villages is interesting to experience. The villagers are very sweet and children come from the houses to greet passersby. The pool is very clean and a rooftop terrace is a nice place to have breakfast, write, relax and do morning yoga. We had some great Ayurveda massages and the owner had a group dinner prepared for us one night to share with the other guests. Many don’t like the distance to the beach, but we appreciated being out of the hustle and bustle of Lighthouse Beach. NYE we moved to the beach with bus loads of people coming in from the country…we may be regretting our change. Murugan, the host, is an Indian Mr. Roark and will do everything in his power to make your vacation comfortable.

Haggling to get a tuk tuk back from the beach after 10pm. Good to arrange pick up in advance with the resident tuk tuk driver.

I have booked the property and when I got arrived they said rooms are not avilable because of plumbing issues. We were in the midnight and has to search for other properties.

This place was amazing very quiet and relaxing. Comfortable A/C room. Pool. And they also have ayurvedic treatments with massage. I initially booked 2 days, then extended another 3.

A bit far from the beach

Wonderful setting: palms, clean pool, in the middle of nature, quiet. Exactly what I needed to relax. Also they offer a good ayuvedic massage and treatments.

Service and staff were amazing, hands on, kind and helpful. The place es quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature and next to a lake.

If you want to do lots of things in the city is a little bit far, but otherwise if you want to rest is perfect

Ganesh Ayurveda holiday home was a great find. The location was just what we were looking for after 7 weeks travelling around India. A very quiet restful home overlooking the lake. The rooms ( I think 8 in total ) all have balconies with chairs and a table. The staff are very nice, especially Murugan the manager and the cleaning ladies. Breakfast is excellent with coffee or tea, a bowl of fruit, followed by an omelette and toast and jam. There is a very large clean pool which was great to cool off in. Overall I can highly recommend this property if you are looking to relax. Murugan can also arrange tuk tuk to Kovalam. I’d also recommend an early morning walk around the lake…excellent. Murugan can also arrange Ayurveda massages at the property.
