Delivered what it promised

Strongly do not recommend if you’re a solo female traveller. I was harassed by the older man Murugan. Inappropriate WhatsApp messages hovering over me at all times even when I was visibly uncomfortable or asked what he needed. Inappropriate hand on my wait as I came upstairs for breakfast. There was only one other male guest staying who I am sure he was not messaging early morning with roses, or standing over me leering in the pool and insisting on talking despite long lulls in conversation & me keeping it professional asking what he needed/if there was an issue with something related to my booking (which I’d already felt uncomfortable enough to put on a huge T-shirt in an attempt to cover up in the pool). The property is far away from anything on foot, Uber doesn’t work so you can only arrange transfers via the accommodation which given my situation I didn’t feel comfortable doing & so spent the entire last day & night of my stay in my room without food to avoid him. But for the brief period I did sit on my terrace of course he came over to talk to me despite me having headphones in and reading a book. It was clear on all occasions I did not want to engage & his advances were unwanted. You will feel isolated and harassed if you stay here. The worst experience I had during my travels. His son was away on travels, perhaps if he was there then the old man would’ve been more professional. I was also told to cancel my booking on booking.com & say I didn’t show up, which again meant that I had no support from the customer service team. A truly awful experience which has still negatively impacted me weeks later. I had splurged on this after weeks of travelling as a treat & truly wish I hadn’t. Additionally, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable & very dirty old toilet brush left out in open in room. Please do yourself a favour & avoid unless you want to be constantly harassed & feel stranded.

I enjoyed the stay a lot! The service was amazing! The help with arranging tuk tuk or massages & care of guest all the time was priceless. Great pool & everywhere is clean here. Thank you for everything🫶🏻

There is no negative things to say at all

Gorgeous place in a stunning rural setting and just a tuk tuk ride away from the vibrant beach area. The room was spacious with a/c and hot water; the staff were really kind and helpful. We had massages which were really good. The swimming pool was fantastic. Do take a walk around the lake area as it’s really beautiful.
