Sunnyside House

A very warm and friendly welcome; small but comfortable bedroom with a great seating area to take in the view at the front of the house. Breakfast was excellent. I would book a sea view room in future.

Great location, very friendly and helpful host

I was visiting Bute for a wedding. The house is a short walk from the ferry very easy to find. My room had everything I needed for my short stay. Lorna was very easy to communicate with, super helpful with helping me get back from the wedding. She made me amazing breakfasts which really set me up for the days. She was very knowledgeable about the island and instantly made me feel at home.

A wonderful, cosy place to stay. Beautiful views from the room window. Delicious hot Scottish breakfasts.

I come to rothesay 3 or 4 times a year and lorna at sunnyside is my first point of contact checking availability. She goes above and beyond with guests. The breakfasts are amazing and it feels as if you are communicating with a friend. She is so knowledgeable about the area and always gives me and others good advice about what is on, places to visit, interesting walks etc.
