Dinas Castle Inn (The Dragons Back)

The breakfasts on offer were good but the portion sizes were large. I don,t eat wheat and gluten and this was catered for well. Julie and Ray were very helpful and keen to make my stay enjoyable.

The location was beautiful it is surrounded by lovely hills. We stayed there for the Hay festival and it was perfect for this, the food was great and we had a large breakfast and supper each day. Julie and Ray were very welcoming and it was great value for money.

The garden and decor could do with some updating but we were very comfortable and it was great value and perfect for our group

The cooked breakfast was very appealing but I was gladly provided with a generous bacon bap as requested and coffee was on tap. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and the hosts were lovely.

I accepted that for the price I was getting a perfectly good deal that made up for minor traffic noise (quiet road on the whole). I can't find anything to criticise, it was utilitarian and comfortable.

Lovely trip with wonderful location and warm welcome from delightful hosts. Dog friendly and cosy . Great food . Handy parking .

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely location and owners/staff were great. Food was very nice with a good selection both for breakfast/dinner and would definitely look at going back in the future. Thanks again Trev, Nicola, Freya and of course Crumble
