Great breakfast, lots of choice

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Lovely food. Looked after us and our dog very well.

The staff were superb, very friendly, very happy to help, you felt welcomed as soon as you walked into the pub. The breakfast was great, plenty of options, more than enough to eat and tasted great. The location was perfect for walking, especially the Dragons Back. It's also very close to a lovely little village that has takeaways and shops. Ideal for a weekend getaway or walking holiday.

Unfortunately wasn’t immune to the rain due to the great British summer followed us , maybe a small mini fridge would have been nice

The Inn is located right in the middle of the beautiful national park and at the exact entrance to the dragon's back trail, a scenic hike. Albeit the relatively basic amenities, everything was clean, the food was good and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Overall exactly what I was searching for in a weekend getaway and amazing value for money.

There is nothing I did not like. It is not five star accommodation but we did not pay 5star prices. It was exactly what we required.
