Glenwood Akaroa Bush Retreat - Totara Hut

What an amazing place! Gorgeous view, lovely interior of the hut, and super clean! So many thoughtful additions, you can tell a lot of love has gone into this, including a lot of breakfast items and guides for local walks. Waterfall was nice to walk to - wear walking boots just in case! We loved having the sheep visit us while we ate our dinner on the deck and listening to the birdsong.

It was so peaceful, the views were beautiful and the bird song was magnificent. We loved the location and the “hut” which was nicely furnished and well equipped.

A fantastic location with magnificent views. Compact accommodation but with everything you need. Very comfortable and liveable. A good start to the day with the provisions supplied. Thoroughly enjoyed privacy and peacefulness.

It was the perfect little house with all the necessary facilities and more! All of the instructions for the use of the compost toilet (super fascinating) and the rest of the equipment were very helpful and thorough.

Beautiful spot only a few minutes from Akaroa. Nice and tidy, with breakfast and some snacks supplied. Didnt see anyone else while we were there. Outstanding view from the deck.

This facility exceeded my expectations. Everything from the location, the cabin, the provisions and even the sheep were just perfect.
