Glenwood Akaroa Bush Retreat - Totara Hut

Everything was fine and the location is stunning

It is a bit tight for space if like us, you are on a long tour and therefore living out of suitcases - there is not enough floor space for everything. The immediate area is lovely with sheep, geese and even a resident pheasant wandering around. It will be even better when all the tree felling is done and tidied up.

Cool to see the livestock around, beautiful views, also found the toilet so interesting and impressive

The breakfast was wonderful and we were able to sit out on the deck whilst enjoying the view and food ! Little snack treats were special as well. Thank you !

The breakfast is very good and the accommodation is clean and tidy. You can hike and see the sheep. The main thing is that the environment is well protected and the ecology is good. I will definitely come back.

Beautiful and private. Breakfast was generous and varied. The walks on the property were enjoyable.

The cottage was very nice. A comfy bed to sleep in, a great bathroom and everything we needed to prepare a meal. The private walk and waterfall track were amazing!

Loved the location, only a few minutes out of town, but felt like you were much further. Really enjoyed the walk to the waterfall, wish we had more time to do the rest of the walks. The bed was comfy and the breakfast and little extras were a nice touch.

An earlier checkin and a later checkout time would be nice so you could make the most of the stay, but we understand the need for these times for cleaning between guests.
