Glenwood Akaroa Bush Retreat - Totara Hut

Private, lovely weekend away to ground ourselves. Loved the private bush walks everything was perfect, continental breakfast was yummy thank you !!!

Nice, quiet bucolic area with great view.

The decor was homely with the extra comfort of fluffy white towels, throw rugs. We especially enjoyed reading the conservation report. A great choice of walks.

Nothing comes to mind

The location was amazing. The view was amazing. I didn't realize how perfect the location was going to be when I booked it, I would have happily spent several more nights here. It was close to Akaroa but there was no light pollution for star gazing and we woke up to the sounds of birds and a sunrise over the harbor. Truly perfect.

I was slightly concerned that we were going to arrive after dark and I wasn't totally comfortable with how easy it would be to find our hut in the dark. It's pretty far down a gravel road, but worth it. I think we would have been find, but I was glad we arrived before sunset.

Awesome peaceful location, with great views and was easy to find with good instructions. The hut was well set out, clean and modern. The assortment of breakfast food & beverages provided was amazing and above what was expected. We also completed their private walking tracks which were a great bonus.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Amazing hut with even better views. Slept with the doors open an woke to the sound of nature.
