Curbar Hillside B&B

This is a little gem of a place. Made to feel so welcome by Mark. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast is cooked to order at whatever time suits you. I can recommend the mushroom and bacon pancakes. Before we arrived I received an email telling me information on the surrounding restaurants and pubs - we weren't disappointed by any of them. We walked and cycled from the B&B - such a wonderful stay. Thank you.

The decor in the room was fresh and well thought. The room was spotless and there was a selection of coffee, tea, biscuits and good quality milkman milk. Mark was so kind and helpful, very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area - a true passionate of outdoor activities, he gave us precious advice on where to go and what to do. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.

All was absolutely great: just a tiny recommendation if I may. Although this didn’t take anything away from the high quality of the breakfast served, I would have loved the option of some fresh fruit and / or yogurt.

Our lodge/chalet was amazing, very spacious, plenty of storage if your staying longer, very comfy bed and a fabulous breakfast

Great quiet location, It was one of our favourite places on our recent UK tour. Very friendly hosts, great Full English breakfast served in the main house. The room was perfect for the 2 of us. There is a nice loop walk along the nearby river adjacent to the property.

The B&B was lovely, only a couple of rooms so very friendly, breakfast was excellent and nothing was to much trouble. Host very knowledgeable about the area. Set in a small village on a hillside.

Unfortunately a couple of local eateries in the village had closed so only one open which was very busy but there were plenty in the area if you wanted to drive
