Excellent accomodation, very comfortable and clean. Great location for walking or access to attractions such as Chatsworth and Bakewell. Mark was a very helpful host, with an abundance of suggestions for walks and places to visit. Good breakfasts.

Lovely clean comfy bed, clean room lovely shower and tv. Great breakfast in the morning too, kept me going all day! Mark is a fantastic host too. Lots of great advice for walks i could go on. Got to see some amazing views! I'd recommend to anyone thinking of going. I'll definitely be back again.

Excellent room and facilities, with the best shower! Excellent breakfast, quiet location with good local amenities.

Breakfast was of good quality ingredients and plentiful. A lovely location in the Derbyshire countryside and also within reach of plenty of buses if needed. The stay was made really pleasant by the host Mark who was out to help make guests stay as good as it could be. Nothing too much trouble.

The breakfast was cooked to perfection. Our hosts were amazing. I wanted to stay much longer. There were birds, badgers, a river at the bottom of the garden, and too much to see and do in the time we stayed there. Very sad to leave.

Lovely breakfast! Lovely host! Peacefully and quiet stay! Short distance to most Peak district stops.

This is one of the nicest B&B we have staid at. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable and we very much enjoyed having our own outside seating area in the garden. Mark is a wonderful host and cooks a delicious breakfast. The location is excellent, at the foot of Curbar Edge in the loveliest area of the Peaks.

We liked everything.

Breakfast was amazing, you had whatever you wanted, and if he didn't have it Mark got it in for the next day. The rooms are so peaceful and comfortable. With only the birds for company and local wildlife around. I went for a walk along the river every morning before breakfast. There are only two double rooms, with a store room in between, so no noise from the other guests. heavenly! We particularly love the walks, you could try out the Craggs above the property, Baslow and Curbar Edge, about 6 - 8 miles round walks. Stunning scenery. There are many good places to visit nearby, such as Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth, Buxton and Bakewell, and many more lovely villages. Try out a "well dressing" during June. This is the third time we have stayed here, and we still love it. Mark and Shona make us so welcome.

having to leave! Unfortunately the nearest two pubs in walking distance have closed, one we particularly liked, but it is not far to go for a meal in the evening. With lots of great places to choose from. We loved Il Lupo Italian restaurant in Baslow.

Mark was a fabulous host, breakfast was lovely and as requested. Obliging with timing, we like a late one, he says the earliest he has done was 5.30! He has a great sense of humor and lots of stories to tell. Room was spotless and tastefully decorated.Surroundings are beautiful.
