"Loved it very much and would go again."

Location was very nice, the service was very nice and the owners were both kind and polite. I chose not to have the breakfast or food due to sleeping in later but it was offered by the hosts. The room was clean and cosy too and the en suite was very clean.

I booked for my brother to stay Friday night(6/3) and he was so pleased with The Shoes he stayed an extra night. It was friendly, very comfortable rooms and the breakfast was very good too. The location was very convenient to the centre of Durham. 25 mins walk away.

Nothing could have been better really.

The price is fair for what you get It's quiet It's near a bust stop and a supermarket Staff were friendly and helpful Good hot water If you drive, it has parking

It was Spartan Beds were very soft - and you could feel the springs If you don't drive, take a bus or a taxi - it's up a very steep hill
