Breakfasts were delicious, I wanted to try them all :) had a different one each day. Food was absolutely delicious. the SPA was great, open to residents for the full day and evening, did not really need to book as it was quiet, but wow, it is truly relaxing and it is great to sit in a hot tub under the stars :)

the only complaint I had, was my room - although huge and beautiful did not have a bath....gorgeous big walk in shower room.......and I think if that is all I have to complain about......so went ahead an re-booked the room with the bath for March .....soooo looooking forward to getting back down

Just everything is excellent always loved this place but it transformed over the years to even better.

Felt welcomed right from the start. Our room was lovely and had everything you could possibly need. We had delicious meals and breakfasts and the spa was a great treat. Perfect location for visiting Northumberland attractions such as Cragside and Bamburgh. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing staff, great food and lovely facilities.

Only a few minor points stopped it being a perfect 10 - a larger mirror in the bedroom would have been nice. Also a longer chord on the hairdryer - I really struggled to find somewhere to dry my hair in front of a mirror (having to move the mirror). Also, for a bed and breakfast - 10am checkout is a bit tight, we felt we had to rush our breakfast which was a shame as the food is so good - even 10.30 would be fine.

Breakfast was lovely, staff were really friendly. Spa was a very nice treat, so quiet. Facilities were excellent.

Skylights in room were a little dirty but definitely didnt affect our stay.
