Lovely apartment with tasteful furnishings and decor. The lounge area was spacious, the kitchen well equipped, the bed comfortable and it was nice to have an outdoor seating area. Our host rang us to let us know the accomodation was ready if wanted to check in early. The Steadings is in a very convenient location with easy access to Arran, Islay, Kintyre, Cowal Peninsula and more.

Only a small thing- there was no freezer compartment in the fridge which meant we couldn't make any ice cubes.

"Idyllic, comfortable and perfect location"

Spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable (especially the bed, oh my), all the facilities you could need and welcoming hosts who gave really great suggestions for things we might like to do in the area. Location is great for getting around to explore lots of places and the hotel a few mins walk away does wonderful food if you don’t want to cook. Lovely to be able to take the dog too.

"Lovely, peaceful and handy for exploring local area."

We stayed in the Bothy, it was very comfy and more spacious than it appeared in photos. We liked the outside patio areà and courtyard, the weather was lovely. It was a great base for exploring Kintyre and Gigha. The owner, Graeme, is very friendly and informative about walks in the area. The flat was well equipped and had everything we needed, we appreciated the wee touches ie fruit and snacks left, thank you. It was lovely, calm and peaceful.

Nothing really, it was lovely. The wi fi for the tv worked well most of the time apart from a bit of churning on last night but tv worked fine (a bigger tv would be nice😁)

"Comfortable and well-located place to stay together with our dog, and lovely helpful hosts"

Great location (very short car ride to Tarbert), homey interior, very pleased with the nearby field for us to walk our dog during our stay, that was really handy. Liz and Graeme were very helpful and welcoming.

TV was a bit dated, with poor resolution, and quite small but didn’t hugely impact our stay. Bathroom door very stiff to close, but again not a big problem. We would still recommend!
