"Rememberable!"

A homely feeling. Nice space full lots. Flexible in service! Run by friendly helpful reliable host couple. Walking distance from the house is a beautiful bbq spot at the bay. We recommend when staying in the area. Richard and Marieke (the Netherlands)

"Exceptional"

Lovely location, very pleasant 1 bedroom upper apartment. Very peaceful area, apart from bird song which was lovely. Surronding area is fabulous lots to see and do. Hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again if the occassion arises. Highly recommend.

"36 hours in Argyll!"

Great location and facilities for us. The owners were excellent. Met us on arrival and waved us goodbye to speed off for the ferry. We all had a lovely evening and a great night's sleep!

"Lovely bank holiday weekend at the Steading"

We stayed in the Shepherd's cottage, which was lovely and cosy. Perfect for a family. Liz was friendly and helpful, and the cottage was well equipped, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. We loved all the cosy blankets! It's dog friendly which is great, and we all enjoyed a beautiful walk round the adjacent Stonefield Castle estate..

Personal welcome, fruit, flowers, milk on arrival. They didn't know we were bringing our dog, but made him SO welcome.

"overall a lovely stay."

its was cosy looking, well located, well equipped and really well located. They were dog friendly and even had dog towels available.

We were there on a particularly cold weekend and the hearing wasn’t really managing to get the place warm. sitting at the table one could feel the cold radiating from the wall. Increased insulation or heating might be worth looking into. we got a small fan heater to help with getting the place warm and that made a huge difference.

"Delightful stay, relaxing and cosy"

location, charm of the cottages (gorgeous!), cosy & lovely welcome

only negative is poor water pressure, but unlikely much can be done about that. Certainly wouldn’t put me off coming again.
