Langley Inn

Great location for our needs, large car park, comfortable bed with pristine clean sheets. Member of staff was super nice on arrival. Room was spacious. Lots of variety at breakfast.

Very bad damp type smell coming from bathroom; curtains made the room look shabby as discoloured and not enough hooks to hold them up properly. Very noisy with children running around, banging about before 8am (down to parents but annoying nonetheless); breakfast was ‘continental’ but quite ‘cheap’; cereals looked like supermarket basic options. Could perhaps do with some more fresh pastries rather than cheap packaged ones. Also instructions in relation to the egg boiler would help. Selection of tea bags. Couldn’t find any decaf anything.

It is a nice building. Comfortable bed. Decent shower Pleasant staff.

Tired, run down and dirty in places. Needs a full refurbishment. When we arrived, we were told that they are planning on redecorating but it needs more than a lick of paint. Breakfast was self service and continental only. There were ants on the counter. No staff around to tell. Furniture was old, sticky and tatty. The room was hot and only had 2 tiny windows. The curtains were not blackout and so we were awake as soon as the sun rose!

A lovely old building, with clean rooms, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The staff were wonderful, Ali was very helpful and informative. There was a large array of options for the continental breakfast, fresh fruit and yogurt, plenty of choices of bread, crumpets, piklets and croissants. It felt like the food just kept on coming. The location is unusual as its in the middle of a housing estate, a result of the farmland being sold off. It was quiet, and there was a choice of 2 pubs, both in easy walking idistance. This was good as the Inn is not licenced.

The shower cubicles are on the small side, however there was plenty of hot water and good pressure.

It was a nice rustic setting. The rooms could still do with some work as could the outside

I didn’t like that you could hear everything from the room next door including snoring and people showing at 4am

what an absolute treasure of a find! such a beautiful setting and the building itself is amazing. Friendliest staff and so welcoming (even when I was absolutely soaking wet having got caught in heavy rain on my motorbike), Loved hearing about their ideas for what they are doing with the building too and really look forward to coming back to stay again in the future
