"We felt the restaurant was their priority which is a real shame as it could be lovely."

3.0

Good location though very oddly in the middle of a housing estate. Breakfast was good.

The facilities listed were not fully available in our room. The curtains didn’t fit the windows. The room was not touched whilst we were there - no change of towels in 3 nights and the bin in the room had no lid and was dirty. We didn’t feel safe to open the window as we were ground floor and the window didn’t lock. Also the view from the other window was straight onto a caravan about 3 feet away. Clothes rail was very unstable too.

Good location, easy to find. Very helpful staff.

Dated - however staff said it was being refurbished so hopefully will get freshened up.

"Gorgeous old building"

10.0

The Langley is just off the Bristol ringroad. You turn into a housing estate and then see the gorgeous 17th century building. The comfortable rooms had oak beams and leaded windows. There is a restaurant downstairs, although we didn't try it. The owner/manager was very friendly.

The Langley Spice restaurant was very nice with lovely food and lovely staff.

The room was a bit tired but this was reflected in the price.

"Business stay"

3.0

The location is great. The hotel is in a short walking distance to shops and next to a park. The building is beautiful and full of character. Plenty of parking. The hotel also has a restaurant on site , but we didn't' go there - didn't feel like curry that evening.

The person who met us at the door kept talking. We just wanted the keys to our rooms to have a wash after the long day and have some space. I stayed upstairs in a room with a window with a hole in it. Yes a piece of glass was actually missing and also to the left the other was gaffer taped. Worn carpets, worn furniture. Extremely creaky flooring! Because of the creaky floorboards I didn't sleep enough - neighbours in the room next door were up at 5 am! Breakfast is to help yourself, you won't get a cooked breakfast there. You are expected to.cook your own eggs if you would like any. There was a microwave and an egg cooking machine. I won't be staying there again that's for sure !

The situation was excellent as we were able to bike into the town on the Bristol/Bath track.

The bathroom was small and tired. No light or bedside table on one side of the bed.
