The location was pleasant, and handy for motorway and access to Bristol. The bed linen was clean and so was the bathroom.

There was a caravan right outside our window, with the window facing ours. There was a lack of furniture and we couldn't sit on the chairs as they weren't clean. The decor/curtains were very dated. The bed was very hard. There was a buzzing noise front he electricity room next to ours. The lamp crackled and flickered on and off when we switched it on - we unplugged it to be safe.

The carpet could have done with a clean . It didn't bother us really but pigeons moving about and cooing could be heard through the roof . To fill the kettle you have to run water into a cup then pour it into the kettle, not enough room in the sink to run water directly into it . Apart from these trivial points it was a really nice place to stay and excellent value for money.

An affordable motel with a nice staff who made an effort to organise a vegan breakfast for me, even though it wasn’t on the menu. They also provided a heater as the evening was cold.

The bed linen and towels were clean; however, the room and bathroom would benefit from a more thorough cleaning.

We have made a complaint to Booking .com on the day we left and are awaiting a reply! The bed was far too small for 2 people, the shower and was too small, there was a rusty old bin in the bathroom and could not access the Tv because it kept pixellating! The most annoying thing was a green light in the ceiling flashing on and off which kept us awake ALL night!

Bigger bed, bigger shower, cleaner and not rusty bin TV that worked - the bin in the breakfast room had a bag in it but the outside was filthy and there was no staff to complain to about ANY of these problems!

Location was good. Bed was decently comfortable and the room was nice and warm. Staff were really nice and friendly, and offered a discount at the attached restaurant.

Room's bin hadn't been emptied and the glasses provided were dirty. One of the lamps was broken (turned on for ~2 seconds then went off, I have a video of this if needed), half the plug sockets in the room were cracked or broken, and there were moths. I'm also not a breakfast person so breakfast being a part of the price wasn't great, I'd rather have not paid for it. The carpet was also nasty (although clean). I don't think it was worth the price paid, although I understand that the property will undergo refurbishment soon.

Good location, very friendly staff team the restaurant very good. Great value. Breakfast was very good too. If you paid a lot more you would expect more.

The beautiful old building, the comfortable bed, the friend, helpful staff. The excellent continental breakfast and the wonderful Indian restaurant for dinner.

The room was a bit basic, though there was everything you needed for a comfortable stay. A member of staff explained they were upgrading the rooms.

Room was cosy and comfy. Shower nice. Bed fairly comfortable soft pillows.

Lovely old manor, we had a room in the eaves. Pigeons cooing woke us at 6.30 but it was such a lovely noise. Good continental breakfast was left laid out to help yourself, (no staff available). More than enough choice to have a good start to the day. Ate at the on site, Indian restaurant. Lovely meal and reasonably priced. Lovely staff. Would definitely stay again.

Carpet very stained and hot tap needs replacing. A bit shabby round the edges, but I think they are gradually working on the place. No staff at breakfast, so all the tables were covered with dirty dishes left by other guests. Fortunately the rooms were not full so there was 1 clean table left for us.
