1 Laurel Cottages

A small room in an old house with good shower and toilet, and a comfortable bed is all we needed. It is kept clean by the proprietor daily. A key is provided and you can come and go at leisure. Dawlish is a pretty little town, quiet, with outstanding train connections which we used to our best advantage. The house is only about 10 minutes' walk through pretty gardens from the station, and there is a wide choice of places to eat close by.

The room is tight for space, but we managed just fine. A kettle is provided, but there is no way to heat food - but that could also be an advantage, since you don't want the smell of other people's food lingering in a bedroom.

Very cute and cosy cottage close to the center of Dawlish and only a small walk to the sea front, our host Ginkgo was very friendly and welcoming and the bed was AMAZING! Such a comfortable nights sleep!
