Well, the place was exceptionally clean and warm. Lot of character and stories that make it very special. Do read the whole book in a room, it has a lot of information and a background story. Very picturesque. Owner Jill is an absolute gem. She's kind and caring. The place itself is in a perfect location, off the high street so quiet and peaceful, yet not far from the high street with many shops and pubs, plus walking distance (maybe 30min) from Surrey hills and quite a good walk to Box hill. Every Sunday there's an antique market at Dorking halls. And not far from the Denby vineyards where they have quite reasonably priced tours by train as well as indoor wine tasting. Plus you get to say good morning to Alpacas in the field.

"Great B&B"

Located almost in the town centre. The host was friendly, but not intrusive. The room was well appointed and the addition of the fridge was a welcome surprise.

The mattress was very soft.

"Great hideaway in Dorking , close to countryside and town centre"

Great host, Jill was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was very well appointed and had everything I needed. Great attention to detail. And a plus to have a guest communal lounge.beautigul gardens and such a treat to meet the alpacas. Great value for money and such a lovely place to relax in.

"Poor."

Location and free wifi

Breakfast poor. Didn’t realise it wasn’t on suite, other guests don’t seem to be able to shut doors quietly. won’t be staying again.
