Wayside B&B

Clean and a fair continental breakfast offering. Location suited us very well. We didn't get to meet the host so cannot comment on the friendliness of the staff but the room was clean and tidy both days.

Chairs provided were flimsy and a bit unstable. Being able to hear people in adjoining room using the toilet in detail. The grapes offered as part of the breakfast were well past being fresh.

Everything was well prepared, but when we arrived there was a bit less coffee than expected. However, it was refilled to a full jar the next day.

The towels weren’t changed maybe I misunderstood and didn’t put them in the shower tray. Also, the bread had already reached its expiration date on the day we arrived.

Good choice of breakdast items, comfortable bed.

The TV could be in a better position. The dining chairs are not very comfortable. The biggest problem is the noise coming from the room next door. Even conversations can be heard. The room needs ro be sound proofed on the joining wall. Some drawers would help too.

This was a great place to stay as a stop over for us! We have a little one, and the property was easy to find and a few minutes away from days out that we had planned. The owners communicated where to find keys, etc, and the process was very smooth and hassle free. The room was clean and the beds were very comfy! Although next to a busy road, we did not hear anything at night, and slept very well. Breakfast was lovely, so much to choose from and lots eaten! We would stay again if in the area!

All was fab! There was no toilet paper provided, but there were tissues in the room, so was not a problem.
