The postion of the hotel was really good for access to amenities. The staff were really helpful and polite and pleasant.

Sadly the accomodation let it down with very dated rooms which resembled none of the photos on the website. The double room was very small and bland and didn't look or feel comfortable with nowhere to store your clothes so left in the suitcase. The family room on the top floor had extremely steep unsafe spiral staircase which was dangerous especially when carrying a suitcase. There could also be an issue in the event of a fire with trying to navigate the stairs. I appreciate the building is quite old but could do with a health and safety update and the room needs an update.

Lovely breakfast, lovely staff, great location.

Room was filthy, carpet disgusting, very grubby on the whole. Really dirty!
