good quiet location but easy access to everything via tuk tuk. Sita is very helpful and a kind person. helped us get our sim card sorted ( there was a long queue at the airport and it was so simple to sort just round the corner from the house). we ate Sita's home made fish curry and it was even nicer than the quite posh restaurant we went to on our second night! finally, we were both a bit washed out from our long flight and we got into the room a little early and stayed a couple of hours after checking out which meant so much to us. thanks again Sita. And Glenn who was very helpful via messaging.

Communication prior to arrival was absolutely great, and a lot of helpful information with advice was given. We got room to take a rest before check-in as we arrived very early in the morning. Sita, our lovely host, made very nice breakfasts and was very friendly and hospitable. The place is a home-like cosy and nicely decorated with a small, beautiful garden outside.

Esthetics , clean, comfortable, nice and efficient service

Absolutely perfect in every way. The house is beautiful, beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. The area felt very safe and there are plenty of good restaurants, Cafes, and bakery within a short walk. The hosts left a very helpful guide book with recommendations. Sita is such a lovely person and a seriously good cook. Would definitely recommend having at least one meal at the property - you will not regret it! Glenn (the host) was very helpful and responsive Highly recommend!

Everything! Location was perfect for me as I had business nearby. Room was very comfortable with beautiful furniture, interior design and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding and I highly recommend trying one of Sita’s home cooked Sri Lanka dinners.

Nothing. But just as a small suggestion, for longer stays it would be nice to provide fresh sheets / towels at some point. Otherwise everything was perfect and I would definitely book the property again.

Sita the Lady who takes care of the place is lovely and helpful. She made us everyday lovely breakfast. Sita, thanks for everything and all the best for you! The rooms/house is pretty and clean. Lovely garden. The house is in a quite street.

The house was very cozy and beautiful. Breakfast was really good and Sita, the landlord, has been very helpful and available.

I would suggest to provide the room with some essential stuffs like a little wardrobe or some hangers.

As the name says, a true oasis in a hectic city! We felt very at home and slept like babies in the huge and very comfortable bed. The style of the home is beautiful and all the essentials we could need were provided (lamps, some toiletries, free drinking water). Breakfast was delicious and from the moment we booked Glenn was extremely helpful in his recommendations for transport and things to do. The info book is such a simple addition that makes a huge difference. Seetha was also wonderful, even taking our laundry to be cleaned on the day we arrived. The location is fab, walking distance or a short tuk tuk ride to many cafes and shops. Getting to the main touristy part with all the sights is easy and it’s much nicer to stay out of the hectic centre. I would 100% recommend.

The only minor inconvenience was being unable to have a nice hot shower because the property uses solar panels and we stayed during the off-season - so little sun! Having said that, the water wasn’t cold, more lukewarm and it really didn’t bother us much because it was so humid anyway.
