The house is, as stated in the ad, "oasis". A lot of green space around the house with quiet neighborhood. The room we stayed in was very nice. Sita is a wonderful and kind person, and Glenn and Fiona were ready to help with anything all the time. We really enjoyed our stay at 27!

"We found Colombo traffic manic but our stay at 27 Spathodea was wonderful."

It is a well located house, near to cafe and restaurants, and within easy tuk tuk rides to downtown Colombo. It is far enough from busy streets to allow for a sense of peace and quiet. The house is a well maintained 1960s style bungalow which is tastefully furnished and comfortable. Sita the housekeeper is a great cook and we enjoyed her breakfast offerings, and the single dinner she prepared for us.

It would be nice to have bedside tables.

Wow! What a beautiful home. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Sita is a gem and makes you feel right at home. She’s an amazing cook and very generous person. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Favourite place I stayed in Sri Lanka.
