barb is so welcoming and friendly. she offered a lot of advice with regards to Tongariro and nearby restaurants. the breakfast was great. apartment was big, comfortable and clean.

you could hear some noise from upstairs- I am a light sleeper and it didn’t bother me though!

Super friendly and helpful hosts, very attentive, big living area , big bathroom , there was everything there we needed, Including washing machine and nespresso machine

Wifi did not really work, drafty windows but we got a heater as it was freezing, if you are a light sleeper like me- it was quite noisy as u hear the hosts upstairs walking, running the water, talking etc so this was unfortunately a big minus for us

Great spot by the lake and really comfortable room.

Location was lovely.

Owner was very condescending, checked twice that we would leave the house tidy, which of course we did but she did during stay inspection and as you can imagine, with 2 teenage kids, kitchen appeared a bit messy when she dropped by.

Our hosts were incredible - they made our time at Lake Taupo amazing. They were accommodating and went the extra mile for us during our stay, we cannot thank them enough! We are very excited to return ASAP.
