Tongariro Adventures

The hosts were exceptional. Friendly, kind and full of local knowledge. My teenager and I shared the downstairs twin room. We had everything we needed, comfortable beds, a good selection of games and books. The location was a 30 second stroll to the lake. I especially enjoyed the quiet and laid-back surroundings and it was easy to slip into holiday mode. Using the kayaks on the lake and into the river was lots of fun. I would recommend staying here.

The hosts (Barb & Mike) are very welcoming and supportive. The suggested us lots of things to do in the area. You can rent kayaks with them, which is awesome. The lake is really close to the B&B, so you can do a short dip in the lake at any time. The boathouse is very spacious, cosy and very well equipt. The terrace outside is perfect for dining and relaxing. We enjoyed the stay very much, we can warmly recommend it. :)

Great Breakfast - tasty and good size for a hefty tramp. Mike and Barb also very flexible with timings etc.

Mike and Barb are exceptional hosts! The property is beautiful and the location a minute walk to the lake. The Boat House was flawlessly clean, and well appointed. Everything you need.
