Thatchcombe B&B

The thatched property lies in its own landscaped gardens, including a vineyard, orchard and natural gardens along a natural spring stream. It feels more than a B&B more like a natural Spa and the hosts provide you with the pampering experience. The accommodation is fitting and modern with it's own private seating patio, allowing comfort within the tranquil setting. It's a WOW experience and we will return. Beyond the boundaries lies, ye old England with thatched local villages within walking distance surrounded by sprawling farms and extensive views of the surrounding counties. You can walk for miles, or sit in the beauty of the countryside. Loved it.

The hosts Tony and Astrid are lovely.Nothing is too much trouble for them.The accomodation had everything in it that we needed for our 3 night stay and after meeting them we know that if there was anything you needed they would try their best to help.Accomodation was spotless and very comfy.A nice touch was having a fridge in the room.Very peaceful and the gardens and views are beautiful.The breakfast was very tasty and healthy.Lots of reading material if you like a book.A bluetooth speaker to plug your device in to listen to your favourite music.Attention to detail excellent.In our opinion 10/10.

We stayed in The Cranny which we loved.Maybe if you have mobility issues ,the steps in to the bathroom may not be for you but ask if the other room has steps.There is a very sturdy hand rail just inside the bathroom door though which is of good assistance.

Liked the location, the gardens, the room and the very local breakfast. Plus the wildlife, the calm dogs and the views.

There really wasn't anything not to like
