This is a truly peaceful retreat in the middle of the vines. In the loft we felt as though we were the only people staying, although we know there were other guests also enjoying their vacation. Brian is an excellent host and while we were sorry to learn that he is selling the property, it’s good to know that the new owners will continue building on the legacy he leaves behind. The property is in the middle of nowhere, but if you like to walk or cycle then getting to Waipara and some of the local vineyards is no issue at all. We had a wonderful stay, it was excellent to be able to unplug and recharge our mental batteries.

Spacious, comfortable, apartment with modern bathroom w/walk-in shower, well-appointed & provisioned kitchen, and relaxing 2nd story balcony to enjoy a superb bottle of wine as day finished!
