B&B Meadow View

We were travelling to Scotland and this was almost half way so made ideal spot to stop. Parking on site and not too far off the motorway, nice and quiet. Hosts were friendly and the accommodation was clean and comfy. Pub within walking distance for food and a drink. Nice selection for breakfast.

The room was warm and comfy and so quiet. Our hosts were really friendly with plenty of advice on the area and great instructions on everything. There was a pub with excellent food and a roaring log fire 2 doors away for dinner. Breakfast was delicious. We loved playing cards and relaxing in the tv room off the breakfast room.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There were hot choices cooked just for me, such as eggs, bacon, mushrooms and sausage. The cutup fresh fruit was perfect. The room was carpeted which was perfect for cold mornings.

The heating system was confusing and I couldn't get the radiators to work. As I checked out, I learned that there is a thermostat somewhere that doesn't allow the radiators to heat if the outdoor temperature is above a certain temp. So the apartment was bit warmer than I liked in the evenings and colder than I liked in the mornings.

Personal touch! Hosts were lovely, made us a great breakfast on the morning!
