"Convenient for Ullswater and Penrith"

It was very helpful to have parking on site. Residents' lounge was a good facility. Good options for breakfast - excellent fresh fruit salad. In a quiet village.

The shower cubicle was small. The room was not large, so there was nowhere to put two large cases.

"Fabulous, so restful and very well fed"

Wonderful breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Lots of attention to detail. Lovely, helpful hosts. Great pub for eating 2 doors up.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Great facilities we didn't have time to use.

Clean, comfortable room in quiet location near Penrith; great breakfast; very friendly hosts; nice guest lounge available; very reasonably priced for the area; pub nearby; interesting historical sites such as Brougham Castle close by; parking on site

There was nothing we didn't like.
