"Superb B&B stay-over on visit to historic Clovelly"

Beautifully restored 250-year-old home, great and gracious host who also operates a dairy with more than 400 cows in another village. Conveniently close enough to Clovelly village to stay here after a day’s visit to Clovelly, an historic treasure.

The room is huge with a big comfy bed and plenty of space to store clothes. Lovely modern bathroom. The host was very friendly and cooked a delicious breakfast.

From the moment we arrived, Slerra Hill felt like a home away from home. The rooms were immaculate and every detail was thoughtfully curated. Breakfast was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The hosts went above and beyond — warm, welcoming, and full of brilliant local tips. It was the perfect base for our walking holiday — we left rested, well-fed, and ready for the next stretch.
