Slerra Hill Bed and Breakfast, Clovelly

An absolutely brilliant place to stay for the night. The room was perfect. Big bed and a perfect shower room as well.

Everything it was a perfect place for the night and we had yummy breakfast too.

We had an exceptional time here. There were so many extra special touches including fresh pasteurised milk from Becky's farm, a lovely welcoming log burning fire at breakfast and even transport to the start and end of our route along the South West Coast path when we couldn't find a taxi. This was definitely a B&B we will remember with very fond memories.

Our stay at Slerra Hill was great! The room was very spacious with two comfy chairs to relax in, and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was clean and a modern style. Even though the room is within the hosts home, we were able to come and go as we pleased. The breakfast in the morning was tasty, with options given. Becky our host was very friendly and chatty, which made us feel very welcome and at ease. There is a great gastro pub/restaurant 10 minutes away, by car, we ate there both nights of our stay and the food was delicious! It’s a great base for visiting Hartland and Clovelly.

Friendly welcome, parking, good communication. Fabulous breakfast. Spaceious room, comfortable, easy to locate.

If you are walking the SWCP, then it is another steep walk up! But, look on the bright side: you've a nice downhill to start the next day! Of course, with a car, no problem.

Very kind and gracious host, she was so helpful and accommodating! The house is beautiful and the room was spacious, lovely, and tidy as a pin. Luxurious modern en suite bathroom, gorgeous views, delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend!

Host was delightful. Room was very large. Had a small fridge which was appreciated.Very close to short cut walking track to Clovelly. Breakfast was great and ample.

Spent a lovely night here. Rebecca met us with warmth and a huge smile which made an excellent start. Our room was exactly as the photos describe it and spotlessly clean and large. After a peaceful night breakfast in the morning was also excellent. Can’t recommend this BnB highly enough. Would return in a heartbeat, In fact initially we were looking to stay in Clovelly village- so glad we didn’t for many reason! But the walk from Rebecca’s to the village takes about 10 minutes down a beautiful path .
