Mincombe Barn Bed & Breakfast

We had a wonderful stay. The property was stylish, spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained throughout. The room was comfortable, well-equipped and had a welcoming atmosphere. The location was great, and everything was presented to a very high standard. The breakfast was amazing too with a great choice and high quality products. Martine was a friendly and attentive host.

Five stars for the room for both decor and comfort, also practicality and quality of furniture & fittings . It was hard to find any fault... Bed was comfortable, sitting area was lovely, bathroom was modern. Loved the fridge in the room with fresh milk, and the home-made cakes. Good lighting, sockets everywhere they're needed (including close to mirror for hairdryer). Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Martine was very friendly and welcoming. And a beautiful valley in a great location!

I'd have liked a small rug by the bed. The tiled floor was pleasant enough to walk on with bare feet, but it would be nice to have something softer by the bed. Also I missed having a box of tissues. That's all I could think of that I didn't like! Oh, and the single track road...but that made it peaceful!

Martine is a great host, super accommodating and pleasant. The room was really comfortable and the location was beautiful. Yes the road is a bit narrow but that's expected in a rural location. We enjoyed how tranquil it was. The breakfast was also very nice and we enjoyed the daily cakes.

Room can be a bit bright at night due to daylight curtains. Would recommend getting blackout curtains for the room.

Beautiful location and Martine and Luke are very friendly and helpful hosts. They serve a lovely breakfast. There is a nice outside area and the farm is a great starting point for wonderful walks. Martine gave us very useful tips about what to do/see in the area and where to go for dinner. We would have loved to stay longer since there is so much to enjoy both near and a bit further away. Thanks again Martine and Luke and we hope to see you next year!

Lovely place lovely host.

Very quiet, pleasant surroundings, clean room, fluffy towels, friendly host, great tea/coffee making facilities including cakes and fresh milk, large bathroom, ideal room for dog, pleasant patio.

The shower was amazing. Cakes was lovely. Could not fault the breakfast. View was outstanding especially getting to see the pony and sheep out of our window. Nothing was ever to much for martine. The was very clean.
