Sycamore cottage

Location of the property was excellent. Just a few miles from Chatsworth, Haddon Hall & Bakewell, it's an ideal base for exploring the Peak District, and I'm sure that we will stay here again when we next visit the Peak District.

One tiny gripe, they need signage outside the property, visible from the road. We drove past twice, and our friends also passed the property twice before phoning me for guidance.

Very nice owners. Charming Cottage, well located between Matlock & Bakewell. Easy parking. Opposite a very nice Pub. Good breakfast options.

We loved the whole experience, it was in a beautiful setting. The cottage was cosy, the facilities was good and Linda and her husband were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We are planning to return in the future and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Matlock or Bakewell

Great, quiet location. Our room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. We had a tasty full English breakfast every morning. Lynda is a very friendly and hospitable host. We intend to return!

The accommodation was clean, well looked after and the variety of breakfast was exceptional. Lynda really looks after you as a guest. The snug downstairs is a great facility for the guests to use. Lynda's knowledge of the local area inspired us to go out to places we hadn't considered as part of our visit.

Fabulous breakfast and great hosts. Room excellent. Close to Bakewell and chatsworth house. Two excellent pubs to eat a short walk away

It was difficult to find in the dark.

Lovely B&B in the centre of Rowsley. The room was really quaint, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous and filling - we bought some homemade jam as it was delicious. There are plenty of walking routes from their doorstep.

There was only a bath in the room (no shower) which was fine for me but my partner prefers to take a shower - my fault though, I didn't notice when I booked.

Very comfortable rooms, good location near to walking in National Park and very nice breakfast
