Sycamore cottage

Beautiful character property in delightful village, next to a church and two excellent pub restaurants. Superb breakfast and Lynda the owner went out of her way to cater for my gluten allergy and to ensure that my room was warm enough for me. Excellent Wi-Fi connection and proximity to Bakewell, Haddon Hall and Chatsworth.

The host was very friendly the breakfast was very fresh .we loved the location within walking distance of pub and close to local attractions plenty of parking was a big bonus we felt iit was great value

The only thing we didn't like was not having a shower but we were aware of this before we went and managed easily with the bath

It was old Fashioned. Away from the road. Very quiet.

The bath did not have a shower, but I think this was my fault because I did not check.

Linda and Alastair are exceptional hosts, so welcoming and friendly. The property is stunning, and you are so well looked after. I will definitely be going back.

Very comfortable and quiet accommodation. Literally “Home from Home”. The owner is charming and gives an excellent service.
