The rooms and facilities were excellent! The matriarch was so kind and friendly! She went to great lengths to stay in contact with me before we arrived and was generous with her time. And she personally provided the lovely breakfast! We had arranged for the Wine Experience for the afternoon we arrived. I had had difficulty with my payment when I was trying to reserve it months ago. Bruno (one of the 2 sons who gave us the amazing tour and co-operates the vineyard with his brother, wife, and mother was so kind, patient, and helpful in helping me get it reserved - even though it was late in the evening for him and afternoon for me in the US, he continued to promptly email me in nearly real time. The private tour for the 4 of us was absolutely phenomenal!! We tasted 2 of there reds, 2 of their whites and their fabulous Reserve wine - each was fabulous with exceptional range of varieties. Everyone considering staying in a Quinta and wanting an informative wine tour with a truly personal story should undoubtedly book with Dios Lagares!! We would 100% stay here again and will recommend it highly to everyone!

Lovely place with a beautiful view of the river. The check-in worked perfectly with clear instructions.

The beds were on the small side, especially in view of the room size.

Great location, super rooms with fabulous views from balcony. Friendly, helpful host even though she spoke no English. Good continental breakfast included and excellent coffee. The vineyard visit and tasting was a highlight of our trip (although arrangements were a little confusing as the vineyard was a further few minutes up the road). Bruno, the joint owner, was so friendly and knowledgable. Would highly recommend.
