Dois Lagares House & Winery

Beautiful property on a working vineyards. Just 4 units. All have balconies. Beautiful , clean and had a pool up in the top near the vineyards. Breakfast included. Tip! Just be sure you make an appointment to visit the winery. I did not and there was no room. My own fault but very disappointing.

You truly need a car. As It will cost you $10 cab to and $10 from train station. They don't have any transport. Make sure they call you a cab as no uber or bolt in Pinhão. It's tough if you don't have a car. Road is dangerous to walk in and out of town and neighboring restaurant only open weekends.

De kamer was sober aangekleed, maar wel schoon en het bed was uitstekend. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Het ontbijt was genoeg, maar de producten, zoals kaas, worst en cakes van mindere kwaliteit. Dit hebben we in Portugal, ook bij goedkopere appartementen veel beter meegemaakt.

The place is beautiful.

However, the contact with the owner is the disaster. If you want private wine tour you need to pay by shady link that is valid by only 4 hours. They are impolite. I recommend wine tours near by. They are much better.

Excellent location; close to town, beautiful views from the balcony. Yummy breakfast with several choices.

Fast and easy

It would be nice to be greeted by staff rather than beingsend a code and instructions via email. No real contact withstaff until breakfast.
