Dois Lagares House & Winery

Nice enough unit. Quiet.

Bed was hard. Breakfast was plain. Thought we were staying at a winery but it's actually just 4 units and not much else. They may do tastings there but nothing was offered. Just felt we were on our own. The lady that was running things seemed nice but only saw her a few times. We know it's the off season and that might be why it was a little less than we expected.

Não tinha taça, não tinha talher , compramos vinho e queijo e não tinha como fazer , tivemos que improvisar

Varanda agradável e a anfitriã muito simpática e prestável.

Faltavam pequenas coisas mas que fazem a diferença, como um simples suporte para o papel higiénico, que estava simplesmente colocado no chão dentro de um cesto. Pequeno almoço também deixou um pouco a desejar.

Great location with stunning views. Walking distance to town. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Driving in and out of the property is a little challenging. The entrance is at a point in the bending road.

La habitación tenía una gran terraza con vista laterales al Douro.

La habitación no tenía televisión. El desayuno correcto. El agua de los grifos salía de color marrón. No nos dieron agua embotellada y la que nos pusieron era del grifo. No tome café por ese motivo. La salida y entrada del hotel es muy incómoda y está en una curva sin visibilidad y el coche roza al salir o entrar.

La visite du domaine viticole associé était un moment formidable (paiement à part). Faites-la les yeux fermés ! La piscine avait une vue magnifique. Le lit est confortable. Sans doute la chambre avec balcon a-t-elle une très jolie vue.

Accueil sommaire (nous sommes arrivés plus tôt que prévu en demandant à tout hasard si nous pouvions déposer nos affaires, nous aurions compris que l'on nous demande de revenir plus tard, peut-être que cela a créé un peu de tension ?). Légère déception car nous avions choisi la chambre pour sa "vue sur jardin" qui est en fait une vue sur un très petit espace de gazon artificiel entouré de thuyas surplombant la route assez bruyante - heureusement pas trop passante en hors-saison. Pas de thé ou de petit gathering à disposition, eau trouble (due à la période bien sûr difficile connue par la région, mais une bouteille d'eau minérale à disposition aurait été la bienvenue).
