Kingsway Bed & Breakfast

Big room, spacious, great location.

Not ensuite, but I knew that.

Incredibly friendly hosts, the place is immaculately clean. Breakfast was excellent. It's an older building and the interior reflects this but all in great condition and clean. The room has coffee making facilities, a TV and a fridge, plus a sink. I stayed on the hottest day of the year so it would have been lovely if there was a fan in the room, but that is minor

I don't like shared facilities, but I was aware of these before booking and they were maintained immaculately so it was not a problem. There's not really anything negative to say, bearing in mind this is at the budget end of the price scale. The Kingsway exceeded my expectations and the friendliness of the hosts and their willingness to do all they can to ensure a great stay puts a lot of more expensive hotels to shame. I would not hesitate to stay here again

Breakfast cooked on the spot, large room, late check in.

On a main road, which wouldn't be an issue except hot and needed windows open. If you sleep light bring ear plugs.

I was a lovely stay with a great couple and well worth it.

Lovely people, enjoyed my stay.

They allowed us to check in at a really late time, and also served us breakfast to go as we had to leave early.

There was nothing in particular that we didnt like.

The location was great for us. The owners were lovely, very friendly and welcoming and we felt very comfortable there. If I was to visit alone I would feel very comfortable and secure. We had a lovely breakfast cooked by the owner in our presence in their kitchen. The place is not modern but is very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

We had to share the bathroom/shower facilities which I was a bit concerned about as we had never done that before but it was fine. Not for everyone but the bathroom was spotless at all times. I have no negatives and would stay there again. The hosts are delightful.

It was in a perfect location for our visit to see friends. It was dated but perfectly clean and tidy. The hosts were lovely and charming and their breakfast was delicious and hot, cooked and served in front of your eyes.

Unusually for me, who books all our holidays and stays, I didn’t notice that it was a shared bathroom B&B. Wasn’t too much of an issue, as only staying one night, and the bathroom we used was lovely and clean, but ideally we would prefer a room with an en-suite.
