Moana Haven B&B

It is hard to image more kind and caring people than Debbie and Dean. They make you feel so much at home, that it is emotional to have to leave their breathtaking spot in the Marlborough sounds.

We loved this place so much!! Debby & Dean made us feel so at home with their kind attention, delicious breakfasts, clean and beautiful room with a view. The possibility to lend their bikes and kayaks made it even more special. Do the Linkpath way and continue with a part of the Queen Charlotte track to the Look out. It was such a beautiful mountainbike trip (it is for intermediate cyclists) but you also can do the hiking. Another fun thing was the kayaking on the sound. Really special and cool to do. There are 4 good restaurants near by and Debbie made us the reservation. The view is spectacular and the atmosphere absolutely zen. So don’t miss on this gem if you go to the Marlborough Sounds ! ♥️

Perfect location near Havelock in the Marlborough Sounds. Debbie and Dean were perfect hosts and the B&B is a credit to both of them. Continental Breakfast was a fantastic selection of home cooked and prepared food. Rooms were very comfortable, spacious and quiet.

Moana B&B is located in a very quiet area with amazing views of the Sound. Our accommodations were very comfortable and Debbie and Dean were amazing hosts. Breakfast was amazing with many homemade jams, cheeses, yogurt, granola, etc for breakfast. Besides providing for our comfort they both were very friendly sharing insights into the area. Great hiking in the area (Queen Charlotte Track) and a nice "local" tavern serving delicious food about 5km from the B&B. We highly recommend Moana B&B.

Debbie and Dean were wonderful hosts and looked after us really well to the point of spoiling us. Fantastic setting and location. They were very helpful giving us ideas on where to go. Breakfast was A++++++++. Thank you Debbie, Dean and Nico xx

Fabulous location and views. Lovely property and gardens. Exceptional hosts. Amazing breakfast with home grown and made jams, relishes, yogurt, cheese, eggs, apple juice. Really recommended.

We had the queen room; king would have been nice.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and quiet. Our hosts were ever ready and keen to help and the breakfast fresh and tasty.

Nothing that matters - our room could benefit from a desk or coffee table.
