A very great homemade breakfast with special coffee. The host was so very gracious in meeting Our every need . A very special experience.

It was really fantastic; can’t think of thing that could have been better.

My wife and I have traveled a lot over the years and stayed with plenty of hosts around the world. I can honestly say Debbie was the best host we’ve ever had! She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind—just a great person who made us feel right at home. The room was super clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the linens were high quality—you could tell she cares about the little things. The house is in an amazing spot overlooking the Marlborough Sounds, and the views were absolutely stunning. And the food—wow. Everything was homemade and fresh from her garden. It was so good we couldn’t stop eating! Debbie went above and beyond, and we’re grateful we got to stay at her place. Highly recommend- if we could give 11 stars, we would!

It had the most beautiful views, the hosts were exceptional, the room/house was spotless, the food delicious, the patio/deck was perfect for relaxing,…it was the best place we stayed in all of the South Island…and we have stayed and enjoyed many of our other accommodations….this beat all the others by MILES (or should that be kilometers?). Absolutely loved our stay at Moana Haven.

Didn’t like having to leave!

We loved our stay at Moana Haven! Dean and Debbie were amazing! They went above and beyond making sure that our stay is comfortable. We felt very welcome and homely there! Homemade cheese and granola were super yum! The house is located in the most beautiful place with amazing views and lots of birds around.

This is probably the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. The welcome and the local knowledge and information provided by Debbie and Dean was outstanding. The breakfast featuring lots of home made items was a memorable feature of staying here. Most of all, the view of the Sound from the room and the deck gave this beautiful house a tranquil and very special feel. An ideal base , too, for walks on Queen Charlotte Track.

Debbie and Dean (and of course Niko) are so so welcoming, they really made our stay in their ‘Haven’ just perfect!
