We really enjoyed staying here! The view and accommodation were amazing, the food was delicious and we definitely would recommend doing the mount batur hike. We booked the hike with the accomodation and we would recommend doing so. Our tour guide Suda was the best. One of the loveliest person we have ever met. Such a friendly and happy soul. He was really happy about the opportunity doing this job, so please support him. He taught us a lot about his culture as well which was interesting. And the views of the hike were amazing as well. We would definitely come back again.

The location is stunning, the views are spectacular & provided many magical moments watching the sunrise over the volcanoes whilst listening to the birds. The bungalows are simple but beautiful and we had all we needed. The staff were lovely and their cooking very tasty. The pool is a lovely feature with various seating areas to sit, listen and look at nature. We requested rooms next to each other which was arranged as we were travelling as a family. The location is also good to drive to explore around Lake Batur, Kintamani & Mount Batur. Spectacular place and would definitely stay again.

Watch out if driving to the property and following a Sat Nav. If the Sat Nav takes you down into the valley from Kintamani to get to the property & you don't have a 4 wheels drive - take an alternative route across the top. Our small car would not make it up the steep road at the final section when 5 mins away from property. We had to go back down into the valley (after a precarious few minutes and the help of locals), and take a different route which was another 40 mins! Saying that the drive through the valley past the lava edge was very dramatic & the villages growing veg were interesting. So worth a visit just not on route to property! Going across the top the property was easy to find & get to.

The shower in the bathroom is so weak that it takes a long time to take a shower. and guest check-in procedures need to be improved.

View was unreal, easy to get to mount Batur and the hotel can help with tours which take you to see the black lava as-well. This tour was relatively cheap aswell compared to prices on get your guide it was half price for a private keep tour, just make sure you bring a jacket because it’s freezing in the morning. The jeep tour is included int eh pictures.

Flies everywhere, cannot be help though due to surrounding farm lands. Hard to get away from the property, grab doesn’t work up there and the owner had to call us a taxi which was rather expensive compared to the prices on grab. However the taxi driver was beyond lovely.

The view was incredible and the room was comfortable. They were happy to make me some food whenever I asked. The nasi goreng ayam was very tasty.

You are far away from the lake and there isn't really anything to do within walking distance. Most people come to this area for Mount Batur though, so it's not like it's a problem anyway.
