bed was comfy, and the room itself was okay. the linen was super soft. the views were very very nice in the morning of mount batur and the lake.

its in the middle of no where. no where near the main part of mount batur. the restaurant is a camping stove in a concrete shed with no selection and you wouldnt want to eat from there anyways. the door didnt lock correctly and once it did even we couldnt get in with the key, the external shower was dripping all night and attracted bugs that would make a strange noise. it felt like more of a glamping experience no food available in the surrounding area, not even a K mart for snacks. we couldnt get a taxi out of there via online apps so had to use the hotel owner however i feel we got ripped off for this taxi but it was essential we got out as i hadnt ate for over 24 hours. you are also unable to get a online taxi from the 'main town' nearby (we had to hitchhike)

We really enjoyed our stay. The view of the hotel was superb! It seems to be one of the most beautiful viewpoint in Kintamani.

Organised the Mt Batur sunrise hike well, and it was amazing.

Nothing else to do in this area except for the hike. It is half way up a hill and roads are windy and narrow.

The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. The room is small and cabin-like. The hotel has been newly opened. They were good with preparing a dinner and breakfast for us and the hotel managed to find us a car ride back.

The hotel is quite remote and not quite equipped for tourists that want to do early morning sunrise visits and have options for food. There is no English speaking staff. It's nearly impossible to find a taxi or other transportation options from the hotel. A few upgrades in services could make this one of the best options in Batur. We didn't regret our stay, but we didn't manage to get to the sunrise view in time, even though it was maybe a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk away.

The views are amazing, staff very friendly and helpful, food is good and great value. Owner very helpful and friendly. Rooms good bathrooms lovely.

Only thing i would have liked was a fridge.

The view is absolutely amazing. We chose this stay as an alternative way to experience the sunrise over the mountains, and it was great! There is nothing nearby and the road up there is steep and narrow, so you need a scooter or driver. We chose a driver. Besides the included breakfast, you can get delicious local food for lunch and dinner - the hotel staff makes it.

The cottages are not very sound proof, so we had difficulty sleeping because of dogs barking, loud music in the village and such. It gets really cold inside at night.

The hotel was in the middle of no where. It was insanely difficult to find transportation. The room was not sound proof and it is located right next to a busy road. We were perhaps unlucky but the other guests were loud late at night and early in the morning - they systematically woke us up. Don’t be afraid of bugs in general, including in the room.

Don't follow google's suggested fastest access. If you want to come here, it's better to take the road towards the Writing Temple because there are fewer sharp turns and steep descents. Because previously we were directed by Google through the fastest way but it turned out to be through a steep road and sharp turns. Standard room facilities, like not really cared for in detail. But the view is 10/10. While sleeping there was a cockroach on the blanket and we suddenly woke up at 3 am to get rid of the cockroaches. but it turned out to be a really fund experience but also could be very dangerous if you are not really skilled at driving vehicles
