WiFi problem Aggressive son of owner Overpriced but clean and comfortable

The apartment was very spacious with a gorgeous balcony. The bedrooms were huge with large beds. Good fans and air-conditioning too. Would have been nice to have mosquito nets as that was a real issue! The outside restaurant had so many mosquitoes and even though the owners put numerous coils underneath the tables, they were a real nuisance. Seemed bigger than usual and we reacted badly to them! Food was extremely good and we ate breakfast and lunch there most days. Lunch on the beach which was lovely. It was great that the hotel had sun loungers that you could use free of charge on the beach. There are 2 large dogs that belong to the hotel. All hotels along the seafront seemed to have at least one dog. However, these 2 followed us everywhere which is not to everyone's wish. Dora the Boxer was very sweet to us but Tony her son, who's very large was not so sweet to everyone. I'm not sure the owners totally understand this though.

The place is very nice and in a good location. Easy access to the beach (private), to bars, restaurants and to Bentota. The owner is very pleasant and accommodating, he upgraded us to the apartment free of charge as we were a group of 4! One of the highlights was definitely the two boxers, Tony and Dora, who would always take us to the beach and for walk, they were good company and bodyguards! Really miss them x

The beach, although private, could really do with a clean. Very sad to see the rubbish left by previous visitors or the broken equipment

We were upgraded to the owner s own flat, so we never saw our room.

Yhe outside area, eating place and beach side in front of the hotel was untidy and filthy. Beach chair broken

Location was excellent, a short walk to the beach. Rooms were clean. Lovely bathroom. Comfortable bed. Staff were nice and helpful.

A beach towel would have been nice. The grounds were a bit run down, but I think it was because it was low season. I couldn't connect to the wifi.

Food was excellent. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
