Nice room/bathroom - very clean & tidy. Good breakfast. Friendly, helpful owners. Great views.

Would have given full marks across the board except the property was quite a way from the tourist part of Clovelly. As we were walking the SW Coast Path it meant a long uphill slog to get there from the famous cobbled High Street… not ideal after a long day’s walking! Then (after a nice shower) having to walk back down to the High Street to eat and then once again make the half hour uphill trudge home again. Having said that, there’s nothing the owners can do to change the geography and their B&B is good value for money compared to anything closer! I would advise any other walkers to do more research than just checking Google Maps (like I did) as this won’t show the considerable height difference between touristy Lower Clovelly and the more residential Upper Clovelly.

Such a fabulous place to stay. Beautiful cottage. Everything is spotless. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is terrific. Debbie was so welcoming and she is very thoughtful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much. Marie, Caitlin and Sean.

"Lovely, comfortable room and delicious breakfast but 0.5 miles uphill from the SW Coast Path"

Breakfast was delicious and our room was extremely comfortable. Also, there was an outdoor seating area at the front of the property which was ideal to sit and have coffee after a gruelling walk on the SW Coast Path.

Having walked from Westward Ho (11 miles strenuous walk) on the SW Coast Path, to then walk another 0.5 miles up a steep, uneven path/road was hard work. Also, we found out on the last day that we could have asked for a packed lunch to be prepared for us. It would have been helpful to know this before our stay, particularly, as it would have been good judging on the breakfast quality.
