I absolutely loved staying here surrounded by so many beautiful pieces of furniture and paintings, etc. The host was charming and helpful and provided a magnificent breakfast. All I can say is a big ‘Thank you’.

Almost everything

It didn't effect us because we were the only occupants but there is only one bathroom and toilet which could get an issue to some.

We were late booking so had to use a shared bathroom, which was fine. So had to take bathrobes etc

Location was very convenient for being able to walk into town centre and nearby on-road parking was fine. It was a very interesting and characterful residence, which was really like being a guest in someone's home. The opposite of staying in a chain hotel. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Alex, the host, was very welcoming and would be a mine of local information if you were staying for a while in Winchester.
