We were late booking so had to use a shared bathroom, which was fine. So had to take bathrobes etc

Location was very convenient for being able to walk into town centre and nearby on-road parking was fine. It was a very interesting and characterful residence, which was really like being a guest in someone's home. The opposite of staying in a chain hotel. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Alex, the host, was very welcoming and would be a mine of local information if you were staying for a while in Winchester.

Great Host, Alex was very accommodating and helpful. Great conversation too!

Close to center of town and sites in Winchester . Cathedral and market is a short 8-10 min walk. Great location

Alex est un hôte charmant et attentionné. La maison est un vrai musée (meubles, tableaux, rideaux, vaisselle, bibelots…) La chambre est spacieuse et confortable. La salle de bain fait le job. Le petit-déjeuner anglais est délicieux et copieux. Propreté impeccable. Quartier calme à 10 mn à pied du centre ville et des pubs. Nous avons pu garer la voiture dans l’allée de la maison. Que du positif!!!
