Menara Green Inn

Clean, spacious room with a very comfortable bed, pillows and mosquito net. Gorgeous shaded terrace area outside where you can see and hear many birds. The highlight was Indika and his wonderful family. They really go out of their way to make you at home. Indika gave me lifts into the town centre for dinner each night, and lifts to and from the bus stop free of charge. The breakfast is complimentary and delicious, fruits, hoppers and sweet pancakes and tea. Thank you so much Indika 🫶🏼

A little bit warm because there is no AC in rooms but it’s all written. Host was great, took us to few locations and arranged our trip to Kandy. Lovely garden and Menara is a lovely kid 😊

Il proprietario é molto gentile, arrivati la sera ci ha aspettato per festeggiare il suo compleanno insieme offrendoci la cena. Posizione buona. Colazione buona, camera con zanzariera e ventilatore.

The owner and his family are very welcoming and are happy to help with anything! He is a Tuktuk driver too and drove me around through all of Dambulla as a free of charge service. The breakfast was huge and kept getting bigger everyday. You really get a lot for the little money you pay.

Molto vicina al golden temple Il proprietario é stato molto gentile, ci ha accompagnato con il suo tuk tuk sia al golden temple che alla fermata del bus per la partenza,aspettando anche che salissimo sul bus corretto <3. Inoltre colazione tradizionale, abbondante e buona. Se volete disponibile anche la cena, noi ci siamo affidati a lui e le porzioni erano abbondanti e squisite. Stanza semplice,c’è solo il problema delle zanzare ma con la tenda non ci sono problemi durante il sonno. Non c’era il condizionatore d’aria ma il ventilatore, ma non é stato assolutamente un problema. La stanza era fresca.

Das Haus gehört einer Familie, die mich sofort total herzlich empfangen hat. Der Besitzer hat mir gleich zu Beginn einen Saft aus seinem eigenen Anbau gebracht, mir die Stadt gezeigt und sich wirklich Zeit für mich genommen. Das Frühstück war ganz toll! Es war der erste Stopp meiner Solo-Reise und ich bin sehr froh, diese Unterkunft dafür ausgewählt zu haben. Schöner hätte ich mir meine Ankunft nicht vorstellen können.

Bij aankomst waren we ietwat teleurgesteld. De kamer is zeer donker, geen AC, schimmel op het plafond en niet zo proper. Na 1 nacht vertrokken we toch met een goed gevoel. De host was heel behulpzaam, reed ons rond in zijn tuktuk en hielp ons de juiste bus te nemen. We speelden spelletjes met zijn dochtertje en het ontbijt was goed verzorgd.
