Brackness House Luxury B&B

The delicious and generous breakfast, and the very friendly welcome particularly stood out. Robert was also really helpful on recommending places to eat. The additional facilities such as lounge, garden and garden room also added to a very comfortable stay. The house is great and in a brilliant location, five minutes walk from the harbour. Highly recommended.

Our room was a bit small. Nevertheless it had a very modern and spacious bathroom and with the extra places to go and relax, the room size was not a problem for us.

Wir wohnten in einem wunderschönen Zimmer mit einem Badezimmer wie im Sternehotel. Bei gutem warmem Wetter hat uns Robert das Frühstück auf der eigenen Terrasse serviert. Mega lecker, abwechslungsreich, frisches Obst, Eierspeisen, schottisch, selbst gekochte Marmelade - mehr geht nicht! Robert hatte immer gute Tipps, war immer hilfsbereit wie ein guter Freund! …

Everything about Brackness House was excellent including breakfast. Hosts were charming and very helpful.

Could have done maybe with a voile curtain as bedroom looked out over garden through French windows. Anyone using the games room at the end of the garden would have a clear view inside. Hence dressing and undressing had to be done with curtains fully closed. Minor point really.

We were warmly welcomed by Robert. Brackness House is in an excellent location - a five minute walk to the harbour, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was superb. Plenty of choice and of good quality. Lovely to have Catriona's homemade jam. The bathroom was huge with a lovely walk in shower. Appreciated the bottles of water each day, the chocolate snacks, bathrobes and slippers.

Très belle chambre d'hôtes, soignée et au calme. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et attentionnés envers les voyageurs qu'ils accueillent, sans en faire de trop. Service hôtelier, avec toutes les attentions qui vont avec. Petit-déjeuner écossais excellent. La chambre au rez-de-chaussée donnant sur le jardin est très appréciable pour son accès à la terrasse ensoleillée. L'accès au port se fait à pied en moins de 5 minutes

Beautiful property with a gorgeous garden - the photos don't do it justice! Very close to the harbour but in a lovely quiet area. Robert and Katrina were so lovely and helpful and really made our stay special. Lots of really thoughtful touches and great facilities like a living room with an honesty bar and a snooker room. Delicious breakfast too!

Room wasn’t,t on suite, bedroom furniture was very old fashioned, Needs money spent on it, cheap curtains ,just old,! Had to go along corridor to use bathroom,

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so very welcome. The accommodation was first class. Breakfast was delicious, and Robert, our host, made sure our stay was memorable. I would certainly recommend Brackness Luxury B&B to anybody wishing to stay in Anstruther. As for us, we certainly will be back.
