On The River

Beautiful outlook, helpful staff.

Location on river was fantastic but the other side was a very busy road, not obvious from the materials.

It was more like a tiny house luxury style rather than an apartment. The only thing not working was the wifi. The accommodation was amazing had a great sleep with fantastic views of the river. The traffic outside is noisey during the day but late afternoon not so much. We were there for our anniversary and totally loved it. We took our Ebikes and rode around the cycle track down by the river. We were going to go out for dinner but loved the view and surroundings where we were we decided to stay in instead and eat. Lovely lovely place. Has everything you need. Denise

The only thing not working was the wifi but maybe that was a good thing. We did get hold of the property manager who did correspond fairly quickly to let us know why it wasn't working.

Location - The location offers a captivating view of the river, even on rainy days, awesome and safe, just a 3-minute drive to shops. The place is top-notch – stylish, spotless, and fully loaded. You’ll find a big milk bottle in the fridge, a variety of coffees and teas, and a kitchen fully equipped ready for action. Plenty of bathrooms, solid Wi-Fi, and a smart TV with Google Chromecast for your entertainment.

The road above is noisy with constant traffic, especially when lorries pass, causing the entire dwelling to shake. Some lamps are out, and the air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom is literally clogged with dust and dirt. While there is a central air conditioning system, I doubt it functions properly in winter. Despite 16⁰ temperatures during our stay, we had to wear warm clothes inside. The upstairs bedroom’s mattress was the worst part for me; it felt like sleeping in a hammock. The second night, my husband slept on the couch to avoid making his back worse than it got from the first night.

Issue with shower twice, drain blocked and then no hot water to the property - although both issues were fixed immediately by the owner which was good. Can hear next door very easily if house side is occupied.
