"Great location but major issues with mold and noise make the stay uncomfortable."

The location is excellent for exploring Ortigia, and the check-in process is easy. The room looks modern at first glance and the host communicates clearly.

There is a strong, constant smell of mold in the room and especially in the bathroom, which feels unhealthy and impossible to ignore. Sound insulation is almost nonexistent: you hear neighbors clearly, plus noise from the shared common area, so anyone waking up early (making coffee at 6:00) wakes everyone. Breakfast is extremely basic (only a few pastries, no cheese or eggs). Overall not comfortable for sleeping or staying multiple nights.

"Clean and comfy accommodation well located to attractions, restaurants, markets. Good breakfast."

Good location close to many attractions, restaurants and cafes. Room was tidy and comfortable, and well presented. A kitchen area which is shared by all guests was stocked with tea and coffee and cake 24 hours, and a nice breakfast presented by very friendly staff.

We were without hot water overnight for one day, but this was quickly rectified once reported. No other complaints.
